Our Process

Uninstall/Bring to shop

First we will carefully uninstall all cabinet doors and remove any drawers. We will then transport them to our workshop where we can begin the next step of the process!

Cleaning/Sanding

The next step in our process is to throughly clean the cabinets and give them their first round of sanding, this allows our primer to fully adhere to the cabinets.

Priming/Round 2 of Sanding

We use a shellac-based primer because it has excellent adhesion properties, and is resistant to water, stains as well as odors. In a kitchen, cabinets are exposed to steam, grease, and food spills, and using a shellac-based primer will help prevent the paint from being damaged by these elements.

After each coat of primer we give the cabinets a light sand to help ensure a smooth finish for the topcoat.

Two Final Top Coats/Reinstallation

We use a fine finish spray tip for our two top coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Enamel. Once the cabinets are ready we transport them back to your home and carefully reinstall them.
